Alfie Darling

The follow-up to Alfie, one of the best loved British films of all time, Alfie Darling finds the incomparable womaniser still up to no good, that is until he meets his match in Abby (Jill Townsend), a sophisticated magazine editor. His pursuit is complicated by his encounter with Norma (Shelia White) and the fact that a jealous husband won't let him forget about his time with his wife Fay (Joan Collins, Land of the Pharoahs).

Pop musician Alan Price pulls off the near impossible task of stepping into Michael Caine’s shoes as the bachelor Cockney playboy, revealing him to be a little older, but thankfully none the wiser. Snappily directed by Ken Hughes (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang), Alfie Darling is based on original Alfie author Bill Naughton’s sequel novel.
